Bachelorette’s Groom-To-Be Rings In on Tux: Guest Blog-Stephen Stagliano

Well hello there Alfred Angelo Unveiled blog readers!  My name is Stephen Stagliano, and I am the luckiest man in the world…I bet you didn’t know that ;)

The reason I am the luckiest man in the world is because I am marrying the most beautiful and wonderful woman in the world, DeAnna Pappas, on October 22, 2011!

Whaow! I feel as though millions of people know about my beautiful fiancée, DeAnna, and even my twin brother, best man, (and recent winner of Bachelor Pad 2) Michael Stagliano.

But, you all don’t know much about me. So, I will give you a brief description of myself.

At my core, I believe God made me with a heart to serve others. I was a teacher for 4 years and loved it. I currently work as an Account Executive for the largest buyer trade show in the United States. I play soccer, as well as in my brother’s dodgeball league. Sundays, DeAnna and I go to church, have dinner with my family, then try to go golfing or see a movie.  I enjoy my job and my team, but I LOVE my life outside of work.

It has been an amazing ride so far, and I have been adopted in to the “Bachelor” family. The pinnacle of all of this will be meeting DeAnna at the altar for our wedding in October….I hope I get the final rose! ;)

This wedding, and certainly my wardrobe for it, would not have been possible without the grace and assistance from our dear friends at Alfred Angelo. Like most men, I had no idea what I was going to wear along with my 10 groomsmen…yes 10…I blame DeAnna. I DO know that I look like a major dork in a bow tie, and that I have a size 32 waist and that’s about it. The team at Alfred Angelo was instrumental in helping us first coordinate our color scheme (Burnt Orange) with DeAnna’s wedding dress, and then her bridesmaids dresses.

In turn, they turned me to their friends and Jos. A. Bank where we found the Alfresco Tuxedo.

This suit fits perfectly for our out door wedding. Truth be told, I did not want to wear a tux because A) penguins scare me and B) we are getting married in a beautiful outdoor wooded area. However, you can see that the Alfresco Tuxedo suit is the perfect blend of formal and casual and fits the “feel” of our wedding perfectly.

Once we had the suit, I was surprised by my own excitement and desire to color coordinate and make the guys look as good as the girls. I am competitive by nature so of course I would translate girls on one side and guys on the other as a fashion battle throw down of Southern Style!

As such, my “crew and I” will be rocking burnt orange paisley ties found along with chocolate colored shoes.

I am still pushing hard for a mini-flame Cala Lily  to separate me a bit from the pack, but I am losing that battle.

I will keep you posted as to who wins…If you think it works with everything please post a comment and show your support.

I look forward to your comments. Stay tuned for my next post which will cover some advice for guys going though the wedding process (I have learned a lot!) and even more wedding details!

Take care till then and thank you for reading!

Stephen
