Introducing our real bride of the month, Danielle!
Danielle is an elementary school teacher who met her beau, Clifford, on JDate. “We texted, met for coffee, and the rest is history,” she says. “Being a kindergarten teacher, it’s pretty cool when I get to tell my students that I’m married to Clifford, ‘like the big red dog.’”
Danielle chose to walk down the aisle in Snow White Style 239 (with a custom-made jacket for the ceremony). “My friends always called me Snow White growing up,” she says. “When the designer had me try on the dress, without even knowing what it was, it was aligned with the stars. I cried when the dress hit my body and never put another one on. Being a bigger girl my whole life, this dress was the one piece of clothing that I didn’t have to hide in. It made me feel incredible, and everyone kept telling me how this dress fit me perfectly.”
On February 15, 2015, Danielle and Clifford married at the Eden Regal Ballroom. “Our theme was pink and gray with butterflies,” she says. “It looked like a gorgeous nature scene.” They had a traditional Jewish ceremony, and the rabbi that married them had known Clifford for years. “His personal speech to us was the highlight of our night,” Danielle says.
The couple kicked off the celebrations afterward with a choreographed dance to a version of Gavin Degraw’s “Soldier.” “We dance and danced to the incredible band, and I even was able to partake in some of my sorority’s traditions,” describes Danielle. “We threw cake in each other’s faces, had an incredible Viennese table, and the band played a final set of songs just for us and the bridal party. We had our dream wedding.”
