Introducing our real bride of the month, Jessica!
Jessica and her husband Jimmy met online in 2012. The two exchanged messages for over a month, getting to know each other before their first date. “I was immediately drawn to Jimmy’s smile, big heart and sense of humor,” Jessica says. Two years later, Jimmy proposed.
Jessica and Jimmy’s wedding theme was simple, romantic and rustic with a color palette of navy, sage and gold. “We added a lot of personal touches,” says Jessica. These touches included their new monogram as a cake topper, their initials in marquee lights and a memory table celebrating the lives of lost loved ones.
When it came to her dress, Jessica had a good idea of what she was looking for: A-line, sweetheart neckline, and pockets would be an added bonus. Style 2119 was the first style she tried on, and it was everything she had been looking for. “I tried about 8 dresses on at my appointment, and every time I came out in another dress, everyone insisted I put the first dress back on,” she recalls. “The dress truly was perfect for my body type and made me feel like a million dollars. I wish I could wear it every weekend!”
On September 25, 2015, Jessica and Jimmy said “I do” at River House in St. Augustine, Florida. In true Florida fashion, the day began with a light drizzle, but then the skies opened up to reveal a rainbow, just in time for the ceremony. “The day was filled with so much joy and love to celebrate us becoming husband and wife,” Jessica says.
The celebration continued at the reception, where the maid of honor and best man gave heartfelt and hilarious speeches. “The food and cake were amazing, and our DJ played all of our favorite songs, keeping the dance floor full!” says Jessica. “It truly was a magical night, and we loved every second of it!”
